“I want to be a doctor when I grow up.”
How many times have you heard that statement by a child? Few will actually go on to become a physician, but those who do need a lot of determination to get there. Bernhard Schonsee, a urologist, has enjoyed his work helping people for many years. It’s time, however, to seek out a different career path now.
The doctor has always, in fact, wanted to be a professional chef. Along with his girlfriend, who works in the food industry, Bernhard has long-term plans to open a restaurant someday. Of course, the word “someday” can be dangerous. It turns into an excuse to put off doing something that takes us out of our comfort zone.
In this Ford “Mustang Moment,” we see Bernhard driving to a fine restaurant. Here, he will cook a meal with a professional chef. That sounds like fun, doesn’t it? The caveat is that it will be presented it to a food critic as well.
