2018 Ford Mustang Gets a Boost

Ford recently announced the 2018 Mustang that includes the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine will offer the new Pony Pack trim that consists of some cosmetic and functional upgrades. The changes are reminiscent of Ford Mustangs from the past and pay homage to the car's legacy.

Among the updates are lower body stripes that come in either black or white and 19-inch polished alloy wheels. Other exterior changes include a chrome pony mounted in the grille and a red, white, and blue tri-bar pony badge on the decklid. When you take a look inside the Pony Pack-equipped Mustang you'll find premium carpets and floor mats embroidered with an Ebony Mustang logo.

The revamped 2018 Ford Mustang was revealed back in January and is expected to hit showroom floors this fall. The Pony Pack will only be offered on the EcoBoost-powered Mustang models. Pricing has yet to be announced but will be released closer to when they go on sale.
